Private Family Concierge Services
Legacy Birth Pros, LLC is a private maternal and family care concierge that thoughtfully coordinates personalized support for individuals and families. Our role is to understand your family's needs, curate appropriate services and professionals, and help create a seamless support experience throughout your engagement with us.
The following terms and conditions establish the general expectations for our private family concierge services. Specific services, fees, staffing arrangements, and engagement terms will be outlined in your individual service agreement.
1. SERVICES & CONCIERGE SUPPORT
Legacy Birth Pros may coordinate and provide access to a range of maternal, newborn, and family support services, including:
- Prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula support;
- Labor and birth support in hospital, birth center, and home settings;
- Lactation education and support, including appropriate referrals when additional clinical care is needed;
- Newborn care and family support;
- Nanny, childcare, and sibling support;
- Household and family assistance;
- Post-surgery and recovery support;
- Childbirth education and other educational services; and
- Sourcing and coordinating additional professionals or services requested by the Client.
Services are thoughtfully tailored to the family's needs, preferences, schedule, and level of support requested.
2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
To help us provide an effective and personalized experience, Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and timely information relevant to their care and requested services;
- Communicate changes in needs, schedule, household circumstances, or preferences as soon as reasonably possible;
- Provide a safe and respectful environment for team members and professionals;
- Follow the terms of the applicable service agreement; and
- Communicate openly with Legacy Birth Pros regarding concerns, preferences, or changes to the care plan.
Open communication between the Client, Legacy Birth Pros, and assigned professionals is essential to maintaining a well-coordinated care experience.
3. PROFESSIONAL MATCHING & CONCIERGE COORDINATION
Legacy Birth Pros will make reasonable efforts to thoughtfully match Clients with qualified professionals based on the Client's requested services, preferences, location, availability, and the professional's experience and scope of practice.
While we take great care in the matching process, specific professionals, staffing arrangements, and service availability are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
When additional services or providers are requested, Legacy Birth Pros may assist with identifying, sourcing, and coordinating appropriate options. Any third-party services may be subject to separate agreements, fees, policies, and requirements.
4. SCHEDULING, AVAILABILITY & CONTINUITY OF CARE
We value continuity and strive to provide reliable, consistent support throughout your engagement.
Professionals assigned to your family will make every reasonable effort to honor scheduled services. Circumstances outside of their control—including illness, emergencies, family circumstances, or other unforeseen events—may affect availability.
When a scheduled professional becomes unavailable, Legacy Birth Pros will make reasonable efforts to arrange an appropriate substitute or alternative support based on availability, qualifications, client preferences, and the nature of the service.
For private engagements, backup and staffing arrangements may be customized and outlined in the individual service agreement.
5. FEES & PAYMENT
A non-refundable retainer or deposit may be required to reserve services and secure staffing for your private engagement.
Remaining fees, payment schedules, additional service charges, travel expenses, overtime, holiday rates, extended-care fees, or other applicable charges will be outlined in the Client's individual service agreement.
Because private concierge engagements are customized, pricing may vary based on the scope, duration, staffing requirements, location, scheduling needs, and level of coordination requested.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY
Legacy Birth Pros values the privacy and discretion of every family we serve.
We and our participating professionals will take reasonable steps to protect confidential information shared in connection with services. Client information will be disclosed only as reasonably necessary to coordinate care, fulfill requested services, obtain appropriate professional assistance, or comply with applicable law.
We understand that privacy may be particularly important to families receiving private concierge services and expect all team members to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and discretion.
7. CLIENT CHOICE & SCOPE OF SERVICES
Clients maintain the right to participate in decisions concerning their support and may communicate preferences regarding services and assigned professionals.
All support provided through Legacy Birth Pros remains subject to the individual professional's training, credentials, qualifications, and scope of practice.
Doula, childcare, household, and other non-clinical support services do not replace medical, nursing, mental health, or other licensed clinical care.
When a Client's needs exceed the scope of a support professional's role, appropriate referral to a qualified healthcare or other licensed professional may be recommended.
8. CHANGES TO SERVICES
Private family needs can change quickly. Clients may request modifications to their services, staffing, schedule, or care plan.
Legacy Birth Pros will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested changes; however, changes may be subject to professional availability, additional fees, minimum service requirements, and other terms outlined in the Client's agreement.
9. TERMINATION & CANCELLATION
Either party may terminate services according to the cancellation and termination provisions contained in the applicable service agreement.
Because staffing and availability may be reserved specifically for a Client, deposits, retainers, and other payments may be non-refundable as specified in the agreement.
Any refunds or credits will be considered in accordance with the Client's service agreement and the circumstances surrounding cancellation or termination.
Legacy Birth Pros reserves the right to discontinue services when necessary due to nonpayment, unsafe conditions, repeated violations of agreed-upon expectations, abusive or inappropriate conduct, or circumstances that make continued service unreasonable or outside the scope of services offered.
10. PRIVATE CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Our goal is to provide more than individual services. We aim to create a seamless, personalized, and thoughtfully coordinated care experience for every family.
By engaging Legacy Birth Pros, Clients acknowledge that our concierge model is designed to reduce the burden of coordinating multiple services and provide access to a trusted network of family support professionals.
